Azmol is unrivaled

Lubricating and cooling liquid “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM” passed industrial tests at PJSC "ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS” and demonstrated the best result, outdistanced competitors in almost all parameters.

Azmol British Petrochemicals, the leading Ukrainian-British manufacturer of cutting fluids, has once again confirmed the high quality of its products, overtaking two bidders for the supply of cooling liquid to metallurgists. PJSC "ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS”, after five months of testing, prefer exactly cooling liquid  “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM”.

It's no secret that the competent choice of cutting fluids can increase the efficiency of various metal-working equipment. That is why the management and specialists of PJSC "ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS” decided to conduct pilot trials of cutting fluids from different manufacturers.

In the experimental period, from April to August of the current year, cutting fluid “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM”, along with two other lubricating and cooling liquid manufacturers, were used in the manufacture of pipes in Electric-Weld Pipe Workshop (EWPW and EWPW-2).

Direct technical support for Azmol British Petrochemicals products was provided by British technologist Bob Howard.  The authorship of the development belongs to him, with consideration to all the features of the work directly at PJSC "ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS”.

Also, an English specialist from Azmol British Petrochemicals company Bob Howard, during the test period, oversaw the process of preparing the emulsion and filling the emulsion system. The necessity for such control was dictated by the peculiarities of observing the manufacturer's recommendations for coating cutting fluid and its compliance with the requirements of the technological process for the production of electric-welded pipes.

Weekly, workshop staff took samples of the working emulsion for analysis in an express laboratory. The best product during the experiment was determined by a number of criteria:

 - emulsion concentration stability;

 - anti-corrosion properties;

 - washing properties.

The test result showed that the concentration of emulsions declared by one of the supply bidders is not enough. During testing on electric-welded pipes and lines equipment appeared pitting corrosion. Having said that the concentration of the emulsion recommended by Azmol BP fully ensures the corrosion resistance of the surface of electric-welded pipes. It is also taken into account good detergency of lubricating fluid “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM” and the absence of odor when using this coolant.

Representatives of the Mariupol industrial giant noted that when using the “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM”, all sanitary requirements for production are observed: rolls, equipment, workplaces, and the workshop area remain clean. Specialists are relieved of such worries as machine attendance and disposal of used products, so preventive downtime is minimized.

At the moment, cutting fluid “Azmol Delta Cuttana SM” is used at PJSC "ILYICH IRON AND STEEL WORKS” as the main one.
